Start time – Round 1 = 10am

Time control – All moves in 25 minutes in sections where analogue clocks are used.  20 minutes for all moves + 5 seconds a move where digital clocks are used. Under 7s do not use a clock

ECF graded – Some of the older sections may be graded

Other information – In this Megafinal only players strictly from the County of Sussex (either resident in or attend a school in) are eligible to win the Supremo and Suprema titles in each age category. For the avoidance of doubt it is still possible for non Sussex players to qualify for the Gigafinals by meeting the required score.
